Hi, I'm Bree and I live on the beautiful Gold Coast in Australia with my husband and our two daughters. I'm the woman behind the hands designing, painting, stitching and photographing every one of these pieces.
I'm mostly self taught although my mum taught me some of the basics when I was an angsty teen who thought embroidery was for little old ladies stitching nothing but flowers and country scenes. Geez, was I wrong!
My style is definately NOT your Nanna's type of embroidery. I'm kinda sorta obsessed with nostalgia and pop culture, so you'll see a very heavy influence of both in my work.
I'm passionate about art and the process of making it. I've painted since I was a kid and love experimenting with different mediums, styles and techniques. Which is why I love the idea of painting with watercolours on most of my pieces.
